Add your countertops
Measure the cabinets along the wall, in inches. We add the overhang for you.
Add your first countertop above. Most kitchens are an L or U plus an island.
How to measure
- Measure the cabinet boxes along the wall, end to end. For an L or U, measure each wall run all the way into the corner.
- Tell us which ends are open (not against a wall or appliance); we add a 1" overhang there.
- Standard depths are already filled in: 25.5" for kitchens, 22.5" for vanities. Change them if yours are different.
- Backsplash runs along the walls. Pick 4" stone, full height (counter to the upper cabinets, usually about 18"), or none if you're using tile. Bathroom vanities also get a side splash on each end that meets a wall.
- For an island, enter the size of the top you want, including any seating overhang.
- Not sure? Use your best guess and attach a photo or sketch. We'll confirm everything when we template.
